Between 4:30am and 2:30pm bus shuttles replace trains between Colfax at Auraria and I-25 & Broadway, calling at all stations in between. D Line, E Line and H Line trains will terminate at I-25 & Broadway. L Line trains will be extended to Colfax at Auraria Station. There will be no service between 10th & Osage and Auraria West stations.
Unfortunately at time of writing (8am, Fri Feb 21st) RTD has not updated it’s NextRide app, which still shows the trains as running normally, or published a replacement bus shuttle schedule. Greater Denver Transit suggests allowing an extra 30 minutes to get to your destination.
Regular RTD buses such as routes 0, 1 and 52 may be used as an alternative, see below for how to get RTD’s NextRide app to work in ‘bus only’ mode.
Bus Shuttle Boarding Locations
- I-25 & Broadway Station – Gate A2
- Alameda Station – Gate A
- 10th & Osage Station – Gate marked “Bus Bridge”
- Colfax at Auraria Station – Next to the rail station on West Colfax Avenue
Using RTD’s NextRide App in ‘Bus Only’ Mode
To get RTD’s NextRide app to only show regular buses in its trip results, first tap Plan a Trip.
Then make sure the Rail button is not selected. Enter the journey you wish to make and then tap Plan Trip.
