Take the train to the plane…

Often referred to as “the jewel in the crown” of the RTD system, the A Line opened in April 2016 and connects Denver Union Station to Denver International Airport (DEN). Trains take 37 minutes to complete the 23 mile journey, calling at 5 intermediate stations.
Map & Schedule

The A Line operates from 3am to 12:30am, 7 days a week with an extra late night round trip being operated at 1am on Friday and Saturday nights. 15 minute frequency service is provided from 4:30am to 6:30pm, frequency is 30 minutes outside of those times.
Vehicles Used

The A line is operated with Hyundai Rotem ‘Silverliner V‘ 2-car multiple units. On weekdays trains normally feature 2 units (making 4-car consists) while weekends typically only see a single 2-car unit. Train lengths may sometime be lengthened for special events. It requires 7 trains to operate the 15 minute frequency service and 4 trains to operate the 30 minute frequency service.
